City Of Fairfax issued the following announcement on Jun. 3.
Share your thoughts about the Kamp Washington Small Area Plan at a virtual public meeting to be held at 7 p.m. June 9. The meeting also will be livestreamed on the city website and cablecast live on Channel 12, the city television station.
At this meeting, you will learn more about small area plans, as well as the proposed process of developing the plan for Kamp Washington
Small area plans are neighborhood-level plans that guide the city on each of its five activity centers defined in the 2035 Comprehensive Plan (Kamp Washington, Old Town Fairfax, Northfax, Fairfax Circle, and Pickett & Main).
Each small area plan provides specific guidance for its activity center, including desired mix of uses, residential density, building density, design aesthetic, street locations, multimodal connections, infrastructure improvements, parking, and open space.
