Rep. Gerry Connolly, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Virginia's 11th district, shared several statements on social media addressing significant legislative and political issues. Connolly has been in office since 2009 after succeeding Tom Davis and previously served on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.

On November 19, 2024, Rep. Connolly announced via Twitter that "Last night, the House passed legislation that included my bill to better understand and prevent veteran suicide. We have to support our veterans not just with our words, but with our actions." Read more
