Gerry Connolly has been part of the U.S. Congress since 2009, succeeding Tom Davis. Before his congressional tenure, Connolly was a member of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors from 2003 to 2009. Connolly, aged 73, was born in Boston, Massachusetts but currently resides in Fairfax. His educational background includes a BA degree from Maryknoll Seminary received in 1971.
