Rep. Gerry Connolly, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Virginia's 11th district, recently shared his views on social media regarding various political and administrative matters. His comments addressed topics ranging from the resignation of a key figure in the Technology Modernization Fund (TMF) to his stance on former President Donald Trump's congressional address.

On March 3, 2025, Connolly commented on the recent resignation of the head of the TMF. He highlighted a statement from the outgoing official: "It has been disheartening to see public servants disparaged in the media recently. Are there opportunities to improve? Yes. But for the most part, public servants are smart, tenacious, and…"

In another post dated March 3, 2025, Connolly discussed the success of the Technology Modernization Fund, legislation he authored aimed at upgrading federal IT systems and reducing costs. He contrasted its achievements with approaches taken by former President Trump and Elon Musk: "The Technology Modernization Fund...is a success story...it has actually made government more efficient and is projected to save taxpayers more than $1.2 billion."

Furthermore, on March 4, 2025, Connolly declared his decision not to attend Donald Trump’s address to Congress: "I will not attend Donald Trump’s address to Congress."
