In honor of #BlackHistoryMonth, #FCFRD recognizes Firefighter Thomas “Joe” Robinson. Firefighter Robinson was the first African American male to become a career firefighter in the history of Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department. He graduated as a member of the 19th Recruit Class in 1971.
