Face Masks, Face Coverings Now Optional in Fairfax City Facilities

6

City of Fairfax issued the following announcement on March 1

Based on new CDC metrics, the Fairfax Health District has returned to the low level COVID-19 spread — so masks and face coverings now are optional for employees and visitors while inside Fairfax City facilities. We support social distancing and mask use for individuals who choose to continue to do so. Please be respectful of individual choices.

Please note: per TSA regulations, masks are still required for CUE Bus passengers and drivers.

Fairfax City will update face mask policies if metrics change or if new guidance is provided.
