City of Fairfax issued the following announcement on Feb.
From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, University Drive will be closed between Whitehead Street and Layton Hall Drive due to nearby construction.
Northbound and southbound traffic will be detoured around the road closure during this time.
Please see the map, left:
- Northbound detour is identified in green
- Southbound detour is identified in blue
- Road closure is identified in red
Expect delays, and consider alternate routes.
