City of Fairfax issued the following announcement on Jan. 18
The federal government has launched the website where U.S. residents may order at-home COVID-19 tests: covidtests.gov.
Through this website, each U.S. household may receive four free at-home tests shipped to their valid residential address.
The site directs visitors to the postal webpage, where U.S. resident can fill out a short form to order their tests: special.usps.com/testkits.
COVID-19 tests will start shipping in late January. Only four tests will be provided to each household.
The website also provides information on how to find COVID-19 tests immediately, how to obtain additional tests, and answers other frequently asked questions.
