South Fairfax Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
With a diverse membership of approximately 90 members, we are one of the largest Rotary clubs in the Washington, D.C. area. We are also one of the oldest, having been chartered in 1931, and we are proud members of Rotary International, an organization with over 1.2 million members worldwide in 32,000 clubs. The men and women of our club (and Rotary generally) are united in a desire to foster humanitarian service, in our community and throughout the world, to encourage high ethical standards in our vocations, and to promote fellowship, both professionally and personally.
