Town of Clifton Forge issued the following announcement on Jun. 18.
The Clifton Forge Fire Department will begin flushing on June 21, 2021, starting at 8 am and ending at 3pm Monday thru Friday.
Flushing will be done throughout the month of June until completed.
You can expect water discoloration and drop in your water pressure while flushing is being done. If you have water discoloration, go to an outside faucet, and open it, and let the water run till it clears up. If your pressure drops, it should go back to normal when flushing is complete.

Flushing schedule could change depending on weather and call volume of the fire department times could change we will try our best to keep the public informed
