This mindless approach to slashing the federal workforce and gutting vital programs and protections will make Trump’s government incapable of delivering for the American people."

Following this, at 00:59:13 UTC, Connolly elaborated on his concerns regarding Project 2025 by stating that it would lead to significant service cuts affecting millions of Americans. He tweeted, "This is the Project 2025 blueprint the GOP tried to hide from voters, and it will cause devastating cuts in services that will hurt millions of Americans and scar our communities. He remarked on the involvement of Donald Trump and Elon Musk in these changes with a tweet saying, "1,000 fewer people are serving veterans, their families and their caregivers today than were serving them yesterday.
