Inova is now accepting applications for its Medical Laboratory Science certification program until Friday, November 26th, 2021. The program's coursework and clinical practicums are done simultaneously over 11 months. Combined instruction totals more than 1,700 hours or 38 semester credit hours.
Inova Fairfax Hospital of Medical Laboratory Science is a division of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. Established in 1963, we pride ourselves in graduating highly qualified medical laboratory scientists who are competent to enter the laboratory profession. Our team includes dedicated and experienced clinical instructors, laboratory scientists, physicians, and administrators, all of whom participate in the education of our students.
