City of Fairfax Police Department issued the following announcement on May. 27.
Starting June 1 and concluding June 12, Fairfax High School and Woodson High School will be the hosts of several regional high school graduation ceremonies. Each of these graduations are scheduled to take place during the morning hours and should only last a couple of hours. Police Officers will be assisting with traffic control at these locations as we expect there to be a temporary disruption in the normal flow of traffic for these ceremonies. This is certainly an exciting time of year for graduates and their families. Please have some extra patience and we thank you in advance
