Rose Lockerby
After taking care of her brother for many years, #NOVANighthawk Rose Lockerby discovered her affinity towards helping others. Rose hopes to pursue #OccupationalTherapy at NOVA’s Medical Education Campus and continue working with those in need.
Alongside her responsibilities at school, Rose takes care of her grandfather in Falls Church. Many NOVA students balance obligations beyond the classroom to progress their dreams and take care of their families. “I appreciate how affordable this college is,” said Rose. “I would be going into a lot of debt, since I have to pay for everything, but #NOVA makes it a lot easier to do.”
