Gerry Connolly, a U.S. Representative serving Virginia’s 11th district, has voiced several opinions through social media posts in recent days.

On March 31, 2025, Rep. Connolly wrote a brief tweet encouraging readers to stay connected by following his updates. “Give us a follow!”

The following day, on April 1, 2025, he commented on the political discourse surrounding Medicare policies. He expressed skepticism about the ability of certain groups to maintain their integrity on this issue. He advised constituents to remember their previous actions when these groups discuss “reforming” Medicare. “Getting pretty tough for them to keep all the lies straight. Remember this one when they talk about ‘reforming’ Medicare.”

Later that day, Connolly addressed concerns over a recent security breach involving the Signal group chat. He highlighted the potential risks it posed to national security and urged for transparency and accountability regarding the incident. “The Signal group chat was an unprecedented security breach that put American lives at great risk. Time to get these folks on the record.”
