Later that day, he expressed his condolences following the death of a fellow House member. My heart is with his family and the people of his beloved Houston as they mourn this loss.”

He remarked: “A lot of veterans are going to be out of a job, and a lot more are going to struggle to access the care and benefits they have earned. There is no good reason for this. The Trump-Musk wrecking ball spares no one – not even the veterans who have sacrificed for all of us.”
