On Saturday, April 5, former Centreville High School standout Daria Haynie’s current college team, the Belmont Bruins, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.

The game took place at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Purple Aces this season.

The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 12 p.m. at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium against Evansville Purple Aces.
