On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Hayfield High School standout Emily Lampela’s current college team, the George Mason Patriots, lost 3-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Niagara Purple Eagles.

The game took place at George Mason Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Purple Eagles this season.

The Patriots’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2:30 p.m. at George Mason Softball Complex against Niagara Purple Eagles.
