On Wednesday, March 19, former Hayfield Secondary School standout Greg Jones’ current collegiate team the American Eagles lost 83-72 against the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in UD Arena, this was the first game against the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers during the championship.

Greg Jones’ hometown is Alexandria and game position is forward.
