In another tweet posted on February 15, 2025, Connolly emphasized the importance of allowing inspectors general to conduct their investigations without interference. He stated that this was “an important step” for maintaining accountability within government operations. “This is an important step, and inspectors general must be free to pursue their investigations without interference.”
Also on February 15, 2025, Connolly expressed concerns about privacy issues related to Elon Musk and Dogecoin (DOGE). He highlighted efforts by the Oversight Democrats to address these concerns and prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data. “The @OversightDems were one of the first to throw the flag on this. Elon Musk and DOGE can’t be allowed to creep on Americans’ most sensitive data as they operate in the shadows.”
