He expressed gratitude to the Hai Hua Community Center for organizing the event annually. “This afternoon I helped ring in the Year of the Snake at the annual Lunar New Year Event at Fair Oaks Mall! Thank you to the Hai Hua Community Center for holding this incredible cultural event every year. I hope the Year of the Snake brings you good health, wisdom, & resilience.”

On February 9, 2025, Connolly called for action against what he referred to as “the Musk-Trump Project 2025 agenda.” He emphasized mobilization and litigation as key strategies. “We need to mobilize, message, and litigate. That is our path to defeating the Musk-Trump Project 2025 agenda.”
