George Mason men’s tennis to host Delaware before heading to spring tournament

The George Mason men’s tennis team will host the University of Delaware at the Mason Tennis Complex in Fairfax, Virginia. The match is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, at noon. This will be the Patriots’ first outdoor home match of the season.

George Mason enters the contest with a 5-1 overall record and is currently on a five-game winning streak. Their opponent, Delaware, holds a 6-1 record this season. Since 2005, Delaware has led the all-time series against George Mason with seven wins to three. In their most recent meeting, Delaware defeated George Mason by a score of 7-0.

After facing Delaware, George Mason will travel to Hilton Head, South Carolina to participate in the Hilton Head Spring Tennis Fest. During this event, they are scheduled to play four matches over one week. The Patriots will open the competition against Hardin-Simmons University on Sunday, March 8.
