On Friday, March 7, former West Springfield High School standout Liam Golden’s current college team, the Navy Midshipmen, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UMass Minutemen.

The game took place at Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Minutemen this season.

The Midshipmen’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 1 p.m. at Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium against UMass Minutemen.
