On Friday, April 18, former Thomas Jefferson High School standout Riley Cooper’s current college team, the CMS Athenas, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Whittier Poets.
The game took place at Charles and Marie Palmer Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Poets this season.
The Athenas’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 12 p.m. at Athena Field against Whittier Poets.
