On Saturday, March 22, former Centreville High School standout Daria Haynie’s current college team, the Belmont Bruins, won 3-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The game took place at Marian Kneer Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Redbirds this season.

The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Southern Illinois Salukis.
