On Sunday, April 6, former Centreville High School standout Daria Haynie’s current college team, the Belmont Bruins, won 10-8 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.

The game took place at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Purple Aces this season.

The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 5 p.m. at Flames Field against UIC Flames.
